Start with your story
Tell us about your symptoms, daily routine and the activities you miss. Bring any relevant reports or post-operative instructions, and we’ll take it from there.
Getting back to the activities you enjoy starts with a conversation about what matters to you. At Axis, we’ll listen to your concerns and take a closer look at how you move.
Your physiotherapy plan may bring together tailored exercises, hands-on care and everyday advice. We’ll work at a manageable pace, checking in and adapting the plan as you progress.

Physiotherapy helps people manage pain, movement difficulties and the effects of injury or surgery. We begin by understanding what feels difficult and what you’d like to do more comfortably.
Your care may include exercises, hands-on techniques and advice about activity. At Axis, functional rehabilitation connects these steps with real life, whether that’s walking, lifting, sitting at work or returning to training.
You’re welcome to visit us for back or neck discomfort, muscle or joint pain, a sports injury, reduced mobility or support with returning to activity. We’ll help you understand the options and where to begin.
If you’re recovering from surgery, we’ll consider your stage of healing and your surgical team’s instructions. Please tell us about new or worsening symptoms so we can guide you towards the right care, including medical review when needed.
A helpful rehabilitation plan fits your goals and your routine. We’ll choose exercises around your starting point, the time you have and the equipment available to you.
Progress might mean easier movement, better strength or balance, or feeling more comfortable with a particular task. We’ll notice those changes together and build up at a pace that works for you.
Everyone’s recovery is different. Your condition, health, healing time and practice between appointments all play a part, and we’ll support you through the ups and downs.
Tell us about your symptoms, daily routine and the activities you miss. Bring any relevant reports or post-operative instructions, and we’ll take it from there.
We’ll assess movements that relate to your concerns, with strength, balance or nerve checks where helpful. We’ll explain each step and make time for questions.
We’ll discuss what we’ve found, the options and any precautions to keep in mind. With your agreement, your first visit may include exercises or hands-on care.
We’ll show you what to practise at home and help you fit it into your routine. At follow-ups, we can work through challenges, build on progress and arrange other support if needed.
At Axis, physiotherapy and chiropractic care offer different ways to support movement and comfort. We’ll introduce the clinician looking after you and explain the approach we’re recommending.
Your plan may centre on one service or bring together coordinated care. We’ll help you understand how exercises, hands-on care and any additional treatment fit your goals.

Both can support musculoskeletal care, with different areas of focus. Physiotherapy commonly emphasises movement, exercise and rehabilitation, while chiropractic care may include spinal manipulation. We’ll help you understand who can best support your needs and whether coordinated care would be useful.
Our team can help you check the booking requirements for your situation. If you’re using insurance or recovering from surgery, your insurer, employer or surgical team may ask for a referral, approval or other documents.
Wear something comfortable that lets us assess the area while respecting your privacy. If you have scans, reports, a medication list or instructions from your doctor or surgeon, bring them along.
Often, yes. We’ll show you the movements, explain how they should feel and help you fit them into your day. Let us know if something feels difficult or makes symptoms worse; we can talk through an adjustment.
We’ll suggest a plan after getting to know your needs and goals. As you progress, we’ll review the timing of appointments together and discuss what support would be helpful next.
We can assess the demands of your sport and help you rebuild relevant strength, balance and activity tolerance. Together, we’ll plan a gradual return, taking your injury and any medical advice into account as well as how you feel.
Get in touch with your operation details and your surgical team’s guidance, and we’ll help you explore the next step. We’ll work within the movements and loading appropriate to your stage of healing, checking with your surgical team where needed.
Please seek urgent medical care for new bladder or bowel problems, numbness around the groin or saddle area, or rapidly worsening limb weakness. Severe symptoms after a major injury, or a hot, swollen joint with fever, also need prompt medical assessment. These concerns need attention sooner than a routine appointment.
We’d love to hear how we can help. Tell us what’s been bothering you or what you’d like to get back to, and our team will help you arrange a first visit at our Tanjong Pagar clinic.
