Chiropractic Adjustment
in Singapore

Back or neck discomfort getting in the way of your day? We’re here to listen, understand what matters to you and help you explore the next step.

Your care may bring together chiropractic adjustments, movement advice and rehabilitation exercises. We’ll talk you through the options and make a plan you feel comfortable with.

Understanding your care

What is a chiropractic adjustment?

A chiropractic adjustment, also called spinal manipulation, is a hands-on technique that uses a controlled, quick movement at a joint. It may help some people with back or neck discomfort following an assessment.

The focus is on supporting comfort and movement. Adjustments work differently from repositioning a disc or permanently straightening a spine. Depending on your needs and preferences, we may also discuss slower joint mobilisation, soft tissue care or exercises.

Let’s get to know you

Could chiropractic care be suitable for you?

You’re welcome to get in touch if you’re looking for support with:

  • Back discomfort when sitting, bending or going about your day.
  • Neck stiffness that makes turning your head uncomfortable.
  • Upper back tightness during or after desk work.
  • Movement difficulties that get in the way of exercise or everyday tasks.
  • Recurring discomfort you’d like to understand better.

We’ll listen to your symptoms, ask about your health and assess how you move before exploring suitable care together. Please mention pain travelling into an arm or leg, numbness or weakness. These symptoms deserve particular attention, and we’ll explain if a medical review would be helpful.

Your progress

What can spinal manipulation help with?

Research suggests modest improvements in pain and function for some people with lower back pain. Some people with neck pain may also benefit, although the evidence varies with the condition and approach.

We’ll focus on the everyday changes that matter to you, such as sitting more comfortably, turning your head more easily or getting back to exercise. At each stage, we’ll check how you’re feeling and adapt your care together.

Everyone’s progress is different. Hands-on care can sit alongside exercises, staying active and practical movement habits to support your recovery.

Your first visit

A warm welcome.
A plan made together.

01

A chance to tell your story

We’ll take time to hear about your symptoms, daily routine, previous care and what you hope to improve. Please share any medicines, surgery, osteoporosis or other health conditions so we can plan thoughtfully.

02

A closer look at how you move

Your clinician will assess the area that’s troubling you, with movement, strength or nerve checks where useful. We’ll explain what we’re looking at and how it helps us understand your needs.

03

A conversation about your options

We’ll talk through what we’ve found, the care that may help, relevant benefits and risks, and other options. Your questions and preferences are always welcome. If X-rays are clinically indicated, we’ll recommend them after your initial consultation and treatment and explain the next steps.

04

A plan made together

Your first chiropractic visit includes consultation, assessment and a chiropractic adjustment when clinically suitable and with your consent. We’ll tailor the approach to your needs, explain each step and share advice to support you afterwards. Any recommendation for X-rays will be discussed after this initial consultation and treatment.

A little clarity before you book

Your questions, answered.

What does an adjustment feel like?

You may feel brief pressure or movement, and everyone experiences it a little differently. Please let us know if anything feels uncomfortable so we can respond. Temporary soreness, stiffness or a headache can occur afterwards. If symptoms worsen or don’t settle, contact us for advice.

What causes the popping sound?

Some adjustments make a popping sound as gas changes within the joint fluid. It isn’t a sign that a bone has been put back into place. You may hear a sound or none at all; we focus on your comfort and response rather than the sound itself.

What should I know about safety?

We’ll review your health history and symptoms to help choose a suitable approach, and talk through the relevant risks and alternatives before treatment. Temporary soreness or stiffness can occur. We carry out careful checks and due diligence before administering any adjustment, keeping your safety and comfort a priority. We’re here to answer your questions and help you make a choice you feel informed about.

Can I choose an option without a neck adjustment?

Absolutely. Let us know your preferences, and we’ll explore alternatives such as mobilisation, exercises or physiotherapy together. You’re always welcome to pause, ask questions or choose a different approach.

How many appointments will I need?

Once we’ve met and assessed you, we’ll suggest a plan around your goals and explain when we’d like to review it. Your progress and preferences will guide the timing of any further appointments.

Will I need an X-ray?

X-rays are not mandatory for your first visit. If clinically indicated, we’ll recommend them after your initial consultation and chiropractic treatment, explain how they can help guide your care, and talk you through the arrangements and any additional cost.

Can I come in for sciatica or a suspected slipped disc?

You’re welcome to book an assessment. We’ll listen to what you’re experiencing, check for nerve involvement and help you understand which care options may suit you. If medical review or further investigation would be helpful first, we’ll explain why and guide you from there.

When should I seek urgent medical care?

Please seek urgent medical attention for new bladder or bowel problems, numbness around the groin or saddle area, or rapidly worsening limb weakness. Sudden severe headache or neck pain with dizziness, double vision, facial drooping or difficulty speaking also needs urgent medical attention. These symptoms need care sooner than a routine chiropractic appointment.
